General information

When you order products from Peléton ApS ("Peléton"), the following terms and conditions apply. This means that as a customer, you approve and accept these general terms and conditions for all purchases on www.peleton.dk.

Peléton complies with, among other things, current consumer law provisions and EU legislation on data protection and privacy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can read more about our privacy policy here.

Delivery

Orders are delivered by courier service to home address or parcel shop as stated in the delivery terms at checkout. Delivery time is typically 2-4 business days. In case of delayed delivery, you will be informed of the reason for the delay and given a new estimated delivery time. If you do not accept the new delivery time, you have the right to cancel the purchase.

 

Delivery of posters

When the order consists only of posters (i.e., without an added frame), your poster is sent in a Peléton poster box. Only some of our posters are in stock, but to avoid environmental waste, we print some products only after the item is purchased and ordered. Delivery time is typically 2-4 business days.

 

Delivery of posters, frames, and glass

When you order a poster, a frame and glass, or only a frame and glass, or only a frame, your order is sent in a Peléton poster box for secure transport of frames. 

 

Delivery risk

Peléton assumes the risk that items are damaged or lost during transport from our warehouse to you. In case of return, you assume the risk that items are damaged or lost; read more about this under Return policy & returns.

 

Secure payment

Peléton ApS accepts payment with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Mastercard, and VISA. Payment will only be charged to your account when the item is shipped. All amounts are in DKK, Danish kroner, and include VAT. We reserve the right for pricing errors and sold-out/discontinued items. Furthermore, we reserve the right to change prices without prior consent.

To always guarantee secure payments, our payment pages are protected with SSL encryption, and all payment solutions are certified.

 

Return policy & returns

Peléton grants you a 30-day return period from the date you received your items.

In case of returns, the items must be returned in the same condition as they were when delivered to you. The items must be returned in Peléton's original packaging with all accessories. 

 

Handling of received product(s)

To verify that the goods are the same as your order, you may only handle and inspect the goods as you normally would when trying/viewing goods in a store. If you have handled the goods more extensively than described above, you may be charged for the depreciation of the goods. Peléton applies full depreciation (i.e., the full value of the goods) if returned goods are not in a condition that can be resold (as new goods).

 

What you should be aware of before returning

In the case of returning goods, the customer pays all postage. You as the customer assume the transport risk in case of return. Peléton assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of returned goods during transport. We therefore strongly recommend that you follow our instructions to return the goods in their original packaging. Peléton’s packaging is designed to minimize the risk of damage during transport.

Cancellation must be notified to us no later than 30 days after purchase, and from the cancellation, you must return the shipment no later than 30 days after. The notification must be sent by email to customerservice@peleton.dk. In the message, you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

 

Refund of returns

In the case of an approved, received return, we will refund all payments we have received from you for the returned purchase within 14 days. Refunds for invoice payments are initially made to the specified personal account. In the case of card payments, the money is returned to the card (i.e., the account linked to the card) you used to make the purchase.

 

Right to claim

Peléton provides full compensation in the form of a new product when a manufacturing defect is verified. It is important to carefully inspect the product upon arrival. If a product is damaged or otherwise defective upon arrival, a claim must be submitted as soon as possible after receipt. Contact customer service if you wish to file a claim regarding your product.

Disclaimer

At Peléton, we reserve the right for typographical and printing errors as well as possible color changes. We issue a disclaimer regarding any price changes, sales, printing errors, errors in product images, and/or inaccurate information caused by technical or human errors. We reserve the right to make changes to prices and purchase conditions. 

All visual information should therefore be seen as illustrations and cannot be guaranteed to depict the exact appearance and character of the product. Peléton is not responsible for information on www.peleton.dk that originates from a third party.

 

Offers

As a general rule, we do not accept discount codes on already discounted products. Exceptions may be made by agreement with Peléton.

 

VAT and customs

If you are located in the European Union, VAT is included in the product price. If you are outside the European Union when ordering products from Peléton, you are responsible for paying any applicable VAT (as relevant within each jurisdiction). Peléton will not be held liable for such VAT.

For orders outside the EU, customs duties may apply, for which Peléton is not responsible.

 

 

Choice of law and jurisdiction

If a dispute arises between you and Peléton, we strongly encourage you to first contact us directly to find a solution. We will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation, as alternatives to litigation.

These terms, including disputes regarding the existence or validity of the terms, are governed by Danish law, except for Danish private international law rules.

Any dispute arising in connection with these terms, including disputes regarding the existence or validity of the terms, shall be settled by the Copenhagen City Court as the court of first instance.

 

Force Majeure

Peléton is not responsible for delayed performance (including delivery and warranty measures) caused by circumstances beyond Peléton's control. Examples of circumstances beyond Peléton's control include, but are not limited to, labor disputes, power outages, lightning strikes, fire, atmospheric disturbances, enactment of laws, measures adopted by public authorities, acts of war, pandemics, strikes or similar circumstances, any power failure, disruptions at those responsible for the website hosting/servers where Peléton is located and/or delays due to networks connected to the internet, etc.
