At Peléton, high quality and sustainability go hand in hand. We make a point of making the most environmentally friendly choices. This applies from the printing of the poster, right down to each individual shipping label. If there is a green option that is also of high quality, we will choose it.
How is Peléton sustainable?
At Peléton, sustainability is paramount. All stages of production have been reviewed. From the printing of the poster to the filling of the packaging. That's why all our art paper is environmentally certified and the colours are chemical-free. Our environmentally certified paper means that no more trees are cut than the forest can reproduce, and that wildlife is protected.
Our Fine Art Printer from Canon is CE marked and uses the latest and best printing technologies to use the correct amount of colour and paper. We print our posters ourselves, so we can guarantee maximum quality every time.
By using electricity efficiently, we also leave a minimal carbon footprint. At the same time, we support the environment by protecting 5 square metres of forest for every order placed in collaboration with the Forests of the World organisation.
Quality without compromise - every time
Our foundation is built on unquestionably high quality. That's why we use a Canon art plotter that delivers stunning colour reproduction on quality art paper. The printer has deep precision and by using 12 colours and a high-tech printing technique reproduces the motif in its full format.
We print our art posters on thick 210g environmentally certified paper with a matte coating. Our paper is resistant to smudging and provides good colour density and excellent image sharpness. The paper type is age resistant, which means it will retain its colour and quality over time.
Environmentally certified quality framework
Our frames are of the highest quality and are all made from solid wood that ages gracefully. The high quality ensures that the frame will last for many years and can be continually reused for more designs. The frames are handmade in Italy, and are environmentally certified. They are available in natural oak, dark oak and black wood. All colours are available in 30x40 cm, 50x50 cm, 50x70 cm and 70x100 cm.
Environmentally friendly and protective packaging
We've spent a lot of resources finding just the right packaging to protect your goods in the best possible way during shipment. We have tested several poster boxes and have found a good and strong packaging. The frames are shipped in special tight-fitting wrappers to protect the frame, glass and poster in the best possible way during shipping. In addition, we apply a "Fragile" sticker to all our shipments to remind the carrier to take care of the item.
